Fabriweld Ltd was established in 1981 and has been involved in the sheet metal business for over thirty years.  We moved to our new premises in March 2000.  

Since then we have focused on upgrading our equipment to the latest technology.  In 2015 we bought an Amada 3.5 KW CO2 laser to Nelson and upgraded to fully CNC brake pressing. We purchased an Amada 6KW Fiber laser in December 2019. This is currently the most powerful Amada laser in New Zealand.

Our 6 KW fiber laser will cut faster and more economically allowing us to offer a superior more cost effective service. We will be able to compete with the machines in the larger centres.

We are able to provide design, laser cutting, pressing and welding services locally in Nelson with faster turnaround times and freight free. Cutting a single part or large numbers of parts is no problem. All parts are stored on our database for future orders.

Our team are all highly skilled steel fabricators with proven experience and expertise in the industry.
